Copper Beeches is nestled in the peaceful setting of Ardgilzean near Elgin in the heart of Moray. Copper Beeches Bed and Breakfast offers a warm and welcoming retreat surrounded by natural beauty. This magnificent five-bedroom detached house sits within gated grounds of approximately two thirds of an acre of private, mature gardens. A defining feature of the property is its stunning copper beech hedge, which provides both character and a high level of privacy, giving the house its distinctive name and charm. The grounds offer a quiet, secluded atmosphere while still being conveniently located for exploring the wider Moray area, including its coastline, countryside, and nearby towns.
When you arrive at Copper Beeches you are likely to be welcomed by our little cockapoo dog Harris, and the ever popular Henrietta (our rougue hen who has the ability to escape into the front garden, some of the guests marvel at her and liken her antics to that of Chicken Run the movie, she is so funny).
There is also an abundance of wildlife surrounding Copper Beeches (deer, partridges, pheasants, red squirrels etc). Beautiful walks and nature trails and an amazing amount of different species of birds)

Beautiful welcoming home and hosts
Beautiful house and gardens, greeted enthusiastically by Harris the dog and the hens! Very welcoming friendly hosts, comfortable bed in a large lovely decorated room with tea, coffees and thoughtful homemade treats. Light and airy bathroom with toiletries provided, fresh towels. Fabulous fresh high quality breakfast overlooking the secluded garden. Highly recommended.

A perfect start to out NC500 trip
Stunning,set in beautiful grounds , our room was fabulous, Catherine and Ron made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble,it’s a gorgeous place to stay ♥️ Harris the cockapoo is a delight I can’t recommend Copper Beeches enough, also the food is delicious, homemade mince and tatties , lovely vegetarian quiche and divine cheesecake and the breakfast are great too, so much choice
